Roy Richards

In this lively interview with Roy Richards, known also for his Middle Age Renewal Training, Carol-Ann enjoyed posing an intriguing question.  How much do you really owe your troublesome folks?  Her own teaching consists of helping adult children to set boundaries and find “me time” that restores their sanity.

David Snow

Carol-Ann thanks Doctor Health, David Snow of “Radio’s Original Health News Magazine”, for taking time from his busy holiday season to equip his audience with the worst resolutions if you have aging parents.  These included: calling/visiting more often; trying harder to please; doing more than you are; and rescuing siblings from their responsibilities.

Mark Cope

International Caregiving Week in November is a chance to recognize the hard work and personal sacrifices of a group of unsung heroes – the caregivers who do this work often without back up, appreciation or compensation.  With Mark Cope, Carol-Ann paid tribute to those who keep elderly people thriving and out of nursing homes.

Dr. Judy Morgan

During her meaningful conversation with Dr. Judy Morgan, Carol-Ann addressed how much stressful caregiving of aging parents can affect your pets.  She related direct personal experience with using Reiki to calm her cats while safeguarding her health so that furry friends and humans alike can better relax.  Pet lovers, catch the recording here:

Tom Barnard Show

Carol-Ann feels it fair to say that she and Tom Barnard found her interview equally illuminating.  They not only discussed her tips for coping with difficult aging parents but also touched upon their personal stories.  This is not something Minnesota’s #1 morning talk show host on KQRS does lightly.  She was deeply appreciative.

Dr. Brenda Wade

Via real estate expert, Jennifer Hammond, Carol-Ann had an opportunity to break down the elephantine sale of her parents’ 50-year home into bite-sized chunks.  While not every situation is a “hoarders on steroids” like hers, the lessons learned will serve many in practical and emotional terms.

Lewis Harrison

In a wide-ranging dialogue, Lewis Harrison and Carol-Ann talked about what aggravates them – much as each strives to remain Zen, Tao and more.  That conversation led into an overview of her 3-step Pissed-Off Journal to record, release and reframe the annoying events of daily life.  Elderly parents, anyone?
